Plan small projects to do at work. Whether it’s writing thank-you notes to colleagues or trying out a new flavor of coffee every day, small projects can make a significant difference. Keep a journal of your experiences and reviews of different products you’ve purchased.

This not only helps you to embrace routine, but adds a fun twist to everyday life.

A Different Perspective Is Good Sometimes

While you don’t need to change the way you think, looking at something from someone else’s point of view can make a significant difference.

Whether it’s something small like a hairstyle or something large like a project proposal, consult people you trust. Getting another person’s perspective can help you identify areas that need to be worked on. In addition, it’s a great way to get fresh, new ideas.

Remember that change does not come overnight. It comes slowly but, if approached with the right mindset, at the right time and at the right pace.
