Amy Vinson - September, 2008
Words that describe Amy Vinson: Wife, mom, friend, daughter, sister, confidant, girlfriend, actress (community theater is as far as she got), cheerleader, teacher, musician, dietician, sailor, nurse, financial manager, cook, dog walker, maid, gardener, swimmer (professional sun-bather), comedian, student of life’s many lessons, daredevil, counselor, child, chauffeur, rock and roll star (at least that’s what her children think), detective, yogi and runner (sometimes).
In her “spare time” she works for Movie Gallery (14 years and counting). Her title as “Senior Recruiting and Retention Manager” does not really describe the role she actually plays at work. While her main responsibility is to head up recruiting for Movie Gallery’s field organization, her favorite responsibility is that of “Ambassador of Fun.” Some people call that part “Employee Retention” (apparently it just looks better on the business card). She loves reminding other Movie Gallery employees of the successes that they’ve had together and how those successes built the company that we love.
