Mike Sillay - May, 2009

Mike Sillay is the North American Services Manager with AkzoNobel, the largest paint company in the world. He leads a team providing business development services in the form of consulting, education and networking activity to over 5,000 of the company’s Collision Repair business customers.

A big believer in small business, Mike supports the growth and profitability of each of these entrepreneurs as if they were his own business.

Before joining AkzoNobel in 1987, Mike worked for a diverse range of organizations, including American Honda Motor Company and The John Harland check printing company.

He is no stranger to building teams and leading people. He spent 12 years as a Corporate Recruiter, Human Resources Manager, and Training Manager which taught him the importance of talent selection and development.

Mike is a pragmatic and well rounded business professional who holds a B.S. degree from Clemson University in Administrative Management. He resides in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife of 25 years, Karen and their three children.
